Job Description
As Operations and Maintenance Assistant Electrical Technician (O&M A. E-Tech), you will report directly to the O&M E-Tech and the O&M Administrator. Your role includes, but is not limited to, assisting in performing on-site operations and maintenance for internal and client-based tasks. Within this role you will perform general mechanical and electrical maintenance on solar arrays, grounds keeping, fleet maintenance, performance testing, mechanical correction on solar arrays, and electrical corrections on solar arrays, among other duties as assigned. This position is based at the Home Offices located in Central City, NE and will require travel to active construction sites and operational facilities, dependent upon schedule and company needs; scheduled travel will periodically require overnight stays.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Execute assigned tasks and duties regarding general mechanical and electrical maintenance as well as grounds keeping at ISI facilities (Home office, Solar Arrays, Auxiliary Sites/Properties, etc.)
• Assist O&M Administrator and O&M E-Tech in Maintenance of ISI fleet vehicles and equipment
• Maintain Order and Cleanliness of the ISI Warehouse/shop space
• Attend meetings with Administration as required
Client Facilities O&M Duties
• Assist O&M E-Tech in completion of Client O&M duties, as directed/scheduled: o Perform Preventative Maintenance Inspections
o Perform Vegetation Management
o Perform Electrical Maintenance and repairs
• Attend meetings with Administration and or customer(s) as required
Experience
Qualifications and Skills
• 2-3 years of professional work experience in the construction trades
• 2+ years experience in electrical work; Journeyman’s license preferred
• Knowledge of Solar Energy Generation Facility construction and or electrical trades experience prefered
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills (Bilingual is a plus), with an innate focus on customer service and a high level of professionalism
• Proficiency in the use of software applications, specifically Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Adobe Acrobat (PDF), and online applications such as SmartSheets
• Proficiency in learning new technologies (software and hardware) and tools
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with a desire to learn new skills, be challenged, and demonstrate growth potential
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to prioritize and adhere to deadlines and critical assignments
• Strong attention to detail with a track record for accuracy
• Strong track record of safety with experience and education in safe construction practices (OSHA 10 or 30 training a plus)
• Willingness to remain flexible and adapt to change as we continue to grow as a company
• Strong desire to excel and develop leadership qualities
